for the lack of updates lately. It's been kinda hectic at home and I havent really been in the mood to write lately.


Anyway, just thought I should post what I have so far of the new chapter. It's not much at all. But I thought you guys deserved at least something to read. So, here it is.

Chapter Eighteen:


Sasori pushed himself off of the dirty floor and walked over to the bed Sakura had been on moments earlier. He glanced quietly over at her and watched as her hair swept in front of her eyes again and again due to the light breeze coming in from the open window. He’d found himself wondering how long it would take before the sudden environment change would break her. She was surely not suited for the life as a missing-nin, and being among the Akatsuki was probably already toring her up. His eyes took in every future of her face. She would have made such a pretty yet deadly puppet. If she didn’t belong to Itachi, he would have made her into one long ago. Shrugging off the thoughts, he looked over to the door where he had been when Deidara left. A soft, bright voice came from the kunoichi as she suddenly started singing. The melody was sad, yet she sang it with a hint of hope lingering in the words. He closed his eyes for a second and listened intensely to the song.

Sakura knew that if she wanted Sasuke’s attention without making Sasori suspicious, she’d have to make him hear her voice. And instead of calling out his name from the top of her lungs, she did the only thing she could think of. She sang.

Her eyes focused on his slightly slouched-over form as he made his way over the abandoned street underneath the inn she was in. So far he hadn’t made any sign of having heard her. She took a deep breath and sang louder, hoping he would hear her this time, but still he just kept on walking.

I dont really like asking this, but I'm doing it anyway because - well- it'd make me very happy..

I was wondering if anyone would like to make a cover or something for my story. I cant draw at all, which is why I havent done it myself, so if anyone with more experience in the drawing-area feel inspired or so to do it, I'd be very, very greatful.

- Just chose a scene or so you like and make something with it. Anything is fine, really.

I'm working on the 18th chapter right now. It's getting kinda late over here, so I wont be able to update today. I will do it as soon as it's done though.
